My aunt and uncle were here last week doing some work, and they came out after dinner for dessert and fireworks.
RC helped my uncle set up the fireworks in the “best artistic display” for us. They did a good job.
Saturday we had to get up and clean up after them.
We had to go up on the hill to find the parachute jumpers.
We picked some wildflowers.
Had to show PokeyMan our finds.
We checked out the garden. Grandma was nice enough to plant McKinley her own little garden in a rain gutter that we can move with us.
These things may be weeds, but darn if they don’t have some beauty to them.
We had to try out some mudpies before the BBQ that RC was hosting.
An afternoon storm rolled in, before another one later in the evening.
I love to watch the sky, watching the clouds form.
We could only see the ends of the rainbow. And even though I harass my mom about taking rainbow pictures, I took a couple.
I loved how the sky looked after the last storm and before bed.
It’s gonna be a busy week. My grandfather passed away Saturday, so we have a funeral and family gatherings this week. I’ll update you on the house progress as soon as I can.
WOW! These are beautiful pics--I forget what it's like to live in the country! I miss it! So peaceful and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI esp. love the rainbow pic--reminds me of the rainbow video Tobes made me watch at the PJ Crop:)
HUGS!
